 Reporting to the CEO, Ron will be the final decision-maker for all marketing, inside sales, and corporate communications. He was close to other offers with higher compensation, but chose not to relocate, and is satisfied with this offer. His comments:

     "A sudden change in my family situation made it imperative not to relocate. Other positions, with more attractive duties and compensation, were imminent, but a thousand mile away. I was willing to 'sacrifice' to balance lower compensation with higher family value. It's still a very good job."

 Ron was able to generate a lot of activity with Spot Opportunities:

     "I found most helpful the metasearch engine and the concept of responding to spot opportunities. I found many suitable openings via the metasearch. Responding to spot opportunities actually produced my best leads and longest, most fruitful dialogues with potential employers."

He sad he also appreciated the effectiveness of the negotiating, networking and interviewing strategies, and the communication strategy, along with SET's ability to surface so many more skills than he realized he had.
